QUALIFICATIONS

• Enterprising: Loading Crew Team Members take initiative. They are efficient and are always looking for ways to systematize and work as a team while infusing personality, fun, and warmth in their interactions. They recognize they are simultaneously the face of the company and personally responsible for kaizen throughout the delivery process and our company.
• Mighty: Loading Crew Team Members are both strong of body and of mind. They show endurance both physically and mentally – they work together as a team to haul heavy furniture up flights of stairs and across open fields with smiles on their faces! Loading Crew Team Members are like Mary Poppins – they know that in every job that must be done there is an element of fun – and they can pull a surprisingly huge pile of furniture out of a tiny trailer, and fit it all back in again with a snap!
• Motivated: Loading Crew Team Members aren’t content with the status quo. They strive for excellence, efficiency, and timeliness in all that they do.
• Possessing Serious Tetris Skills – there will be a test.
• Available: availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends is a must!
• Drivers must have a valid driver’s license and either experience hauling a trailer or a willingness to learn!

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Be a Gathered Collection Expert – know each piece in our collection like a personal friend – or at least a close acquaintance – don’t worry, we’ll train you!
• Processing, preparing, and packing orders for delivery, or double-checking orders against tickets if vehicle was loaded for you.
• Safely transporting items to and from their destination (properly strapping and padding items / observing speed limits + traffic laws) and repairing any damage if possible.
• Communicating with clients and vendor partners onsite at deliveries / pickups, and explaining policies
• Properly interpreting floor plans + invoices onsite
• Reviewing + restocking items as they come back to the warehouse

SPECIFICS

• Part time / Seasonal
• Split shifts 
• 10-20  hours/week, depending on event schedule
• Delivery Crew $17/hour 
• Team Lead $20/hour (Team Leads have extra responsibilities including pre-event meetings and providing onsite leadership to the Delivery Crew)
